Clark County Sheriff’s Office Case Study

Rural Clark County, Ohio, ranked third in the nation for overdose deaths in 2017. To combat the growing crisis, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office expanded its drug disposal program beyond the county’s single drop box to include take-back events, additional drop boxes, and distribution of the Deterra® Drug Deactivation and Disposal System to increase access to convenient, effective drug disposal.
