UTICA, N.Y. – The Oneida County Opioid Task Force announced Oct. 23 that it is distributing free medication
disposal bags by mail and at a drive-thru event on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The drive-thru, “Take Back” event will happen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 29 at Union Station, 321 Main St., Utica.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Center for Family Life and Recovery, Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and local police departments. More public distribution events will be announced in the coming months.
