Cazenovia police install safe medication disposal kiosk at station

In partnership with BRiDGES and the Madison County Department of Health, the Cazenovia Police Department has installed a safe medication disposal kiosk in the foyer of the police station.

Safely disposing of unused or expired medications is one way the community can help prevent the misuse of medications. Using the disposal kiosk also keeps medications out of the water supply.

“The Village of Cazenovia is proud to partner with BRiDGES to support this community-based program to reduce access to surplus medications that might cause harm to our children or families,” said Cazenovia Mayor Kurt Wheeler.

The kiosk will be available to the public from 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday.
