Community Calendar: Drug take back, craft fair and more

Superior: Barker’s Island Farmers Market runs 9 a.m. to noon near the SS Meteor.

Superior: The Douglas County Historical Society will host a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1101 John Ave.

Iron River: Explore the creation of a self-guided auto tour of the Northwest Sands from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Iron River Community Center, 8275 E. Mill St. The Northwest Sands stretch from Madeline Island to the Mississippi River and includes portions of Douglas and Bayfield counties. Superior: The Superior Douglas County YMCA has partnered with Every Meal to provide free nonperishable food bags to people in need in the community. Drive-thru distribution will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Y’s south entrance.
