EASTON, Pa. — Northampton County is continuing its push to keep unused medications out of the wrong hands and prevent addiction before it starts.

The county will mail the next round of drug disposal bags to residents starting on Friday, May 10. The bags are from Deterra, a drug deactivation and disposal company.

The county is mailing bags out to residents in three rounds, based on zip codes. The first round was in November, the next round is coming up in May and the third round will be later this year, officials said.
