Deterra Partners with Funeral Homes to Destroy Unused Medications

Many situations contribute to the abundance of prescription drugs circulating in our society, from keeping unused prescriptions to losing a loved one in hospice care.

The Madison Chatham Coalition in Madison and Chatham, New Jersey, has partnered with Deterra to provide complimentary drug disposal pouches to funeral home clients. These pouches will help deactivate and destroy unused medications after the loss of a family member, along with providing education on the importance of disposal.
