Sales Support Representative

Position Overview:

Verde Technologies is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Sales Support Representative to join our team. The Sales Support Representative will play a crucial role in providing administrative and operational support to our sales department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth functioning of our sales operations and enhancing customer satisfaction and to help create and refine processes and procedures to ensure customer success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and maintain sales materials, presentations, road kits and proposals.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of sales reports, forecasts and metrics to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries via phone and email, and through the Salesforce service app for live chat, and web cases.
  • Route customer inquiries via the Sales Inbox to the appropriate salesperson.
  • Resolve customer questions and issues, escalating within the company when necessary.
  • Onboard customers in the B2B Customer Portal and guide them through the initial order process as needed.
  • Facilitate sales cadences from our outreach bot, and monitor the reply inbox for routing and lead/contact clean up in Salesforce.
  • Fulfill customer and sales requested sample requests.
  • Facilitate coordination of sign up, booth, collateral and related items for regional events attended by the sales team.
  • Make recommendations for updates to customer FAQ/knowledge base.
  • Provide input on existing processes for improvement, with an eye towards automation when possible.

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Proven experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably in a related industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality service to customers.

 

Education/Experience/Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce highly desired

 

Organizational Relationships:

Reports to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and will work closely with the sales, operations and marketing teams on customer support activities.

 

Working Conditions:

This position is a hybrid schedule, with at least 3 days in the office. Requires flexible schedule and some travel. Must handle own administrative and secretarial support.

 

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requires a self-starter attitude and results orientation.
