Somerset Co. Health Department announces locations for National Drug Take Back Day

Anyone wishing to dispose of unused prescription medication but is unable to take it on Drug Take Back Day will have the option of receiving a Deterra Drug Deactivation and Disposal System Pouch through the Somerset County Health Department in Maryland.
Local officials in Troup County discuss resources for National Prescription Take Back Day

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, it is designed by the Drug Enforcement Administration and it is an opportunity for people to give back prescription drugs they may no longer be using. District 4 Public Health in La Grange, GA, is encouraging the disposal of prescription drugs by giving out the Deterra Drug Deactivation System.
Safe drug disposal event set this weekend throughout Tri-State

At the Walgreens and Drug Emporium locations, the Prevention Empowerment Partnership in West Virginia will also distribute Deterra bags to safely dispose of medication at home in between Drug Take Back days.
