Who i am
Hi, I’m Jack— I work alongside organizations and health departments to help bring safe, effective drug disposal solutions to their communities. I partner closely with prevention teams to make programs easy to implement and impactful, with a shared goal of making prevention more accessible for everyone.
the importance of prevention
Primary prevention is about showing up before tragedy does. Deterra helps protect families by removing unused medications from homes, reducing risk before harm can happen. It’s a small action with powerful impact—creating safer spaces, stronger communities, and hope for healthier futures.
what i do
My work is built on service, collaboration, and removing barriers to effective prevention. I partner with organizations to reduce risk from unused medications by integrating simple, evidence-based deactivation and disposal solutions into real-world programs and outreach.
Deterra fits seamlessly into existing outreach, education, and funding initiatives without adding complexity or burden. The goal is to make prevention practical, effective, and actionable where it matters most.
