Prevention event targets drug abuse in ‘the 922’

Tuscarawas County Anti-Drug Coalition member and PFCS Prevention Specialist Diana Smith says they hope more local people will use the Deterra bags to get rid of unwanted prescription drugs.

UHRICHSVILLE (Tusco TV) – The Tuscarawas County Anti-Drug Coalition is heading back to the Twin Cities again to share substance abuse prevention tools and information.

Coalition member and PFCS Prevention Specialist Diana Smith says they will be teaming up with the Tuscarawas County Health Department for an event at the Uhrichsville Church of the Nazarene during the church’s weekly clothes this Thursday from 2 to 4 pm. She says it will be the same format as the event they held at Mako’s earlier in the month with informational booths, free Narcan kits, and bags people can use to get rid unwanted prescription drugs.
